Former United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Member of Parliament Dayashrita Tissera has officially joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).

In a social media post, Tissera expressed his commitment to serving the people of the Naththandiya electorate and the broader Puttalam district, citing this as the driving force behind his decision to align with the SJB.

In his Facebook announcement, Tissera stated, "I have joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya with the intention of serving the people in the Naththandiya electorate and the Puttalam district more effectively."

SJB leader Sajith Premadasa, acknowledging Tissera's decision to join the party, has appointed him as the electorate organizer for Naththandiya.
