Sri Lanka Extends Visa-Free Entry for Tourists from Seven Countries

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has announced the extension of visa-free entry for tourists from seven countries by a month. Chairman Priyantha Fernando confirmed that the scheme will remain in effect until April 30th. The visa-free entry, initially approved for tourists from India, Russia, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, and Malaysia, comes as a response to the rising influx of tourists to the country.
