The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation has announced the call for Expression of Interest from both local and foreign investors for the development of the Jaffna International Airport.
Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva emphasized that further actions will be taken post the selection of a suitable investor.
Additionally, he revealed that the proposal to transfer operations of the Mattala Airport to two companies from India and Russia has been submitted to the Ministry of Finance after approval from the Cabinet.
